first wk of work down. just trainings. nothin interesting. unlike ah cui n fred's overseas trainings which seem to b so much fun. boohoo! still tryin to get used to workin life. e squeezing with pple on public transport. into lifts. during lunch hours. e chope-ing of tables with tissue paper. walkin in pointees. dressing formal. been feeling that e place of my last internship was more homely and comfortable. hopefully i made e rt choice. pls prove me rt.

managed to catch beautiful fireworks last fri. all thanx to yiling! e view was fantastic. minus e part which we had to squeeze n queue to get in n out. reminded me of days in morey's piers where we had fireworks display every fri. that was realli cool. e deafening blasts with ash falling on my head as i stood on e boardwalk witnessing e fireworks. lovely memories.

cele'd ryan's sis's bday at tis crab restaurant today. super gd lor. i'll def b back. e crab soup was my fav. it's lk 'gaogao' 1 lor. was supposed to go for dim sum but e place was far too crowded so in e end changed venue. blessing in disguise man.

met up with cs n sw on one of e wkdays. realli glad. hopefully we can meet up one more time b4 cs flies. catching up was great. cant believe we've known each other for lk 10yrs? really glad we still keep in contact. though i feel a lil disconnected from their world. i mean cs is already goin on to her masters n sw broke her bond n will b joining a law firm. n me? juz a contended lil gal with no big dreams.

Second time at RSYC. but tis time we actually get to go on a yacht!!! how exciting! thanx to peiru's mum n uncle for allowing us to havoc on board his yacht!! e goldies had a taste of e high life! e yacht costs lk 2mil USD. juz imagine!! fully equipped with kitchen/bar, 3 bedrms (2 with double bed, ktv sys (super up to date!!) n they had Wii on board!! how cool is that!

blogging on my new queen bed! yayyyyy~ super happy! finally got new furniture! been wanting to get new stuff for my rm since e longest time but could nv get my lazy ass down to do it. it's so diff to get e old stuff out of my rm can. plus e packing n lugging down 3 storeys. it's really no easy feat! got a new dressing table tooo! heeeee totally love it! yummm!

n goldie's 1 yr anni is coming up. our string of cele has started with an outing on peiru's uncle's yacht yday! it was a totally 'wow' experience. start till e end! shall update when i get e pics. it's really great to b rich man.

back from cheena land! maybe it's coz we both juz came back fr US n thailand so tis wasnt as anticipated as i hoped but we still enjoyed ourselves :) tis is another place where u can spend/live/eat lk a king.

guangzhou really isnt a tourist-friendly place. e tourism there isnt developed n pple always look shocked when we say we're here for leisure. many thanks to my dad who gave me a vitual tour of e area before we went. they came back abt a wk before we left. they booked e trip before us n had to pay a penalty if they were to change their dates to coincide with ours. anw we juz had to do more research before goin. thats all. everyting there is really cheap! prob coz there isnt much cheat tourists places. u noe wat i mean?

tat said, it's a rather developed place. their metro system can rival spore's mrt. no doubt abt it. clean, efficient n v cheap! costs onli abt 40-50cents. they also use cards similar to our ez-link card to tap although one-way tickets come in e form of tokens which can b tapped too. e high rise buildings there r v pretty too. lk our pebblebay n bayshore. also when we were there i noticed they have ALOT of construction goin on. lk every few blocks is a construction site. it's a v fast developing country.

one interesting ting we noticed there was there were v few youngsters on e streets when we were there. my relative told us thats coz all their universities n collages are built in tis area called university town. all e students stay in that town and onli go home during e wkends. we had so much difficulty finding places to chill n club. n there is practically no western food there! n finally on our last day we managed to spot one western restyaurant. n it turn out to b rather disappointing. boo! but our luck with food was pretty gd. we had really gd dim sum n jap food. n e best part - it's all damn cheap. lk we can walk into a damn posh restaurant n pay lk juz 30-40 sing.

i also smoked my very first cigarette in my life! was high aft finishing a whole bottle of sake juz me n dear. but i really cant get it right lar. duno when to suck n puff n all. ended up coughing n not feeling high. dun worry im not addicted to it. n i onli allow ah koh to smoke coz we're holidaying.

tings we bought. spent less than expected. i bought lk 4 pairs of shoes. 3 bags. 1 belt. 2 dresses. 15 tops. 2 skirts. plus accessories. dear bought quite abit of stuff too! he bought tis cheap a&f polo tee which is really v real. i mean if it's fake it's really v v real lor. he regretted not buying more. lotsa imitation stuff there too. though we didnt buy much.

tis is how we felt aft e trip. wasnt a relaxing trip lar. i guess when shopping is involved it's always tiring. oh forgot abt macau. we went macau for one day. i didnt noe we needed passport to enter macau but luckily e lady told us. anw it's abt 2hrs plus away fr guangzhou. e casinos there r lk crazily grand. we onli played in casino lisboa. e building is lk all gold. gold leh. siao 1. i mean obv not real gold lar. but super grand. anw they use hongkong dollar to gamble in there which i found quite weird. macau was one of e best day on e trip. if onli my feet didnt hurt from e new heels. boo! all in all it was a fruitful trip :)

decided to change my blogskin to mark tis new stage of my life. ive made a resolution to myself: i'll not b consumed by this whole working/adulthood life. i'll still b me! i dun wan to b numb. b fake. suck up to superiors. act enthu towards work. i'll tk time out to enjoy myself no matter how drained i m from work. work is not goin to stop me from having a life. yes! that is if i can help it. haiis :(

going guanzhou tml. hope it'll b a happy trip! i gotta stock up on working wear. hopefully they cater to small pple there. i have sooooo much difficulty finding working clothes that fit n i look gd in. most of e time i juz look lk a kid in her mummy's wear.

just came back from my pre-employment check up. not feeling too gd. dun worry, it's nothin to do with my health. im in gd shape. or at least thats wat e doc said aft i stayed n waited arnd for lk 2hrs. i had a preview of wat my life would b lk at least for e nxt 3 yrs. e check up location was at raffles place n i witnessed e bz lunch hr. not like it's my first time, i mean all e tissue chop seat kind of experience i've had before during my internship. but tis afternoon e same scene had a larger impact on me. im not sure if im up for tis. tis whole working life ting.. im not sure if im suited for it man. am i really up for it? can i survive it? let alone perform at work. it's really making me nervous.

one ting i noe for sure, im so goin to miss sch life. not e studying part though. saw a bunch of uni students having sch camps doing photohunt at e mrt juz now. such beautiful memories. i really wanted to step up to them to tell them to cherish wat they r goin thru now man. saw quite a few dunman high n temasek jc students at bedok just now n i tot to myself, how did i let those yrs slip past so quickly. tsktsk. really feel damn old now. sian. n i was at bedok library (yes i read! coz im really bored w/o my dearieeeeeee) n there was tis guy who came up to me n said that im kinda cute. hahas e first tot that ran thru my mind was 'im too old for tis man'

gosh. tink im sounding lk a 70yr old ah ma. but im really starting to b affected by this whole adulthood, working life shittttttt! stressssssed!!!!!!!!!!

another sleepless nite.. duno wat's wrong with me. ive been waking up at 2, 3 am e past 2 nites to find myself hungry n bored. dearie is enjoying himself in thailand. im glad he decided to go in e end. he didnt wan to go initially coz it's my first wk back in sg n i'll b starting work real soon which means hell :(

seriously, i duno wat working life is goin to bring.. all i noe is that im not looking forward to it. it's goin to b diff fr internships n temp jobs. those days even if im in shit, i noe it'll will b over. soon n i can return to my carefree, slack n nua student life. but tis time round, there is no return. feel pretty uncertain, duno wat to expect. i tink im feeling over-negative abt tis whole situation. but i feel lk my time is running out. i wana make sure i do everyting i wan to do before i start work. as if life ends once i start work. which isn't e case.. right??

i guess i really have to grow up now.

im back! from e US of A!! e past 3mths i really suffered/played/enjoyed myself to e max! met lotsa pple, saw lotsa new tings, did tings i've nv done b4, changed my eating habits, my sleeping patterns, shopped lk mad. all in all it was a gd trip! if onli work wasnt so tough man.

met up with e nursings at clarke quay ydae. it was a gd idea to meet in e day rt? mayb we shd do that more oft. can accomplish far more den our usual meetings. headed down to vivo to use up my f21 vouchers! yay finally finished spending all :) got accessories coz i feel that e dresses r cheaper online hahas. n easier to browse too. n i got my anti-aging cream! shall start my 'care-for-face' regime real soon. esp in US when i'll b under e sun during work. ohh i got e OLAY one cheap n gd i heard. let's hope so. will update if it works wonders.
