e day finally arrived. our v first nursing to b off e shelf.

e pretty bride w e pretty bouquet (v ex btw) no wonder pple say e bride is always e prettiest. somehow i really agree. cant u see e glow coming out fr e bride.

bay looks ready to be e next one. hahas. actually tat day yl had to toss e hand bouquet n legend has it (hahas) e gal who manage to catch e flowers will b e nxt one to b e bride (like real lar) but somehow everyone just shun it. i dun c why. actually i will gladly b e nxt hahas (ah koh dun faint hor) but frankly i find getting married a tad too troublesome.

our wedding gift for e couple. hahas. doesnt e groom look lk e monkey?? opps. hahaas.

i like tis pic coz i look tan. i miss my tanner days. nowadays im even lazy to get a tan. lk lie down n sun tan oso lazy. boo! wat's becoming of me!?!?!

anw. went for ryan's uncle's surprise party.
i must say his family is quite a close knitted one.
n im so much better w their names now.
(imagine having lk 100 new faces n u smile n hi at all of them but have zero idea who e hell they r or how in e world r they related to ur bf)
took quite a while n quite some events though.
e coolest ting abt e party.
there was a bar. yeah. how cool is that.
ryan's cousin had frens who did tis n it was really cool.
u can name any cocktails/shots blah n he'll give it to u.
he even made lk waterfall n flaming lambo. hahas.
cool stuff. i tink that was e highlight of e nite.
plus i won some $$ at texas.
though quite paisei to tk their money.
but totally made me gian for e coming CNY!!!
cant wait :)



the other day e bf n i had a nice lil picnic by e beach.
out first picnic :)

we're both kinda addicted to champange. i lk e bubbly quality to it. some nites we juz buy a bottle, pop n sip. no occassion no nothin. juz lk e picnic day :)

e weather was pretty gd. though we had to shift twice to get out of e sun. we found a pretty nice spot. quiet, breezy. lovely.

some food we prep last min. nothin fantastic. juz sandwiches n chips.

It was a lovely day out. a gd break fr work. hiaks!

here's baby rascal! he's a little rascal. haha. really adorable! e bf says he's e most lovable amg e nephews. till now max is still my fav. but i must say his spot is being challenged.

Miss yiling is getting MARRIED. tml. how exciting. gosh. it's TML!!!

wah. did quite abit of stuff there in 3 wks? pretty tiring way to start e year.

1. xmas @ ys's

surprisingly me n dear did most of e bbq-ing. initially lar. hahas. n dear was e one who set up e fire. im pretty impressed. saw another side of my dear i didnt noe existed. hiaks.

all e nursings. except eve who left early n yh who was in vietnam.

den we went on to play tis twister game. guys vs gals. everyone was super enthu lor. neither sides wanted to lose. not becoz of e forfeit but it's juz e ego n pride.

tot this was pretty funny. hahaas.

2. new year's eve at ah koh's

this yr we had some frens over. mainly fr hall. sorry couldnt invite more (we really would have died fr e cooking). all in all was fun. i lk coordinating n preparing. cooking for our frens. hopefully e food standard was acceptable.

look at the spread! there were more food in e kitchen lor. n e scary part is they really managed to whack all e food!! none was left ahahas. n 4 bottles of champange, 1 bottle of ice wine (thanks to ah cui n gerald), 1 bottle of baileys, a dozen cans of beers and some hard liquor. thats how much we conquered.

6. tax party at velvet

was my first time at velvet. not bad. luckily 4 of them reached first n we managed to get a table. if not we gotta stand thru out the nite thru e games n lucky draw. didnt drink much coz e A1s dun drink. plus gotta conserve till later for yiling's hens party (which btw was fantabulous!!!!! more of that when we get e pics. prob aft e ROM)

n on a random note, these r e pple that sit in my cubicle. we r e only 4 left on ulu island. sandwiched btw e wealth mgt team n e M&A team. boohoo. e only good ting is we are away fr all e managers (danger!)

past wk pretty eventful. did wat pple my age shd b doin
enjoying life n having a blast. hahas
which i shd do more of instead of nua-ing at home at every chance.

pple whom i wash my laundry, cook (though mostly miss tan), brave e cold (e delaware trip), shop (n shop n shop n shop...), stuff myself silly with chips, work (booo!), travel, play, party, sleep (dont sound too rt..) with.

miss xie was at her sis wedding. miss chua n me r supposed to join someting to keep us fit. but ewe duno wat yet.

us at dbl o. saved me quite abit of cab fare that nite.

i tink i need to find some goals n someone to look up to.
i need some direction!!!

for now, im happy n contented to juz spend wkdays lazing at home or at e bf's
sometimes goin for nice dinners n drinks aft work
wkends go hunt for gd food at ulu places.
play with e bf's nephews. spend time with my parents. that's abt it :)

growing old

i m officially OLD!

but i still got my id checked at e door of zouk.

dear's sis got free tix to e fcuk premier of their new line. which really wasnt too impressive.

but we got vouchers at e door so no complains from me :)

still not used to e smoke-free clubbing scene.

but i tink e smoke room idea is kinda cool

anw.. really not young anymore. i feel lk i dun fit in e environment.

so in e end didnt stay for long.

before that we went for dinner n drinks at villa bali

really nice place to chill man. all i had in mind was e waterfalls. e trees. flowers. serene feeling.

i kinda forgot wat to expect for dinner. hahas.

which was a pleasant surprise. we had rice n some thai/malay dishes.

e platters there looks pretty good. too bad they serve 4 or more.

i feel more n more lk my dear these days.

e tattoo. e smoking (dont worry im not hooked. neither is he.) now i have tis ting for beers too.

hope i dont get a beer belly man.

i mean i dont drink beers in e past coz i tot it was a v guyish ting.

but now im hooked man. i'll choose beer over cocktails anytime!

had a nice dinner with my fam :) lil bro's bday is 1 day b4 mine.
my mum is not in town on my bday so we cele in advance.
had a nice homecooked lunch with dear's fam too.

due to popular demand (countless pestering from a certain someone)

not that i intend to get anymore. hahas.

i walked into e store tinkin i'll b getting a real tiny one to satisfy my crave
n i walked out with tis.
wanted to do a butterfly with 2 'r's which represents ryan & rachael.
but havin 2 obv 'r's didnt turn out too nice so settled for tis 1
theres a obv small 'r' n fr e butterfly can easily derive e hidden 'R' with e curvy tail.

anw was quite lucky that there was a slot n i could get it done e same day.
e tattooist was booked all e way till nxt mth already.
went to e same guy who did ryan's back.
im really happy with my tattoo! cant stop lookin at it.
oh in case u're wondering.. thats my right front hip.
yay! my only worry is when i get fat or pregnant e tattoo will stretch too.
hahas. but now that i got my tattoo. my nxt step is to get some abs to go with it.
getting a tattoo has been one of e tings i wana do at 21. im glad i made it in time.
still tinkin whether to tell my parents. i tink they'll hit e roof. literally.
guess will keep it fr them for e time being since they prob wont c it lar.
now my only worry is that it wont heal well n gotta touch up.
yikes!!! i dun even wan to tink abt it lor.
i tink i'll rather do 10 bikini wax den go under e needle again!

exams exams

nopes. no more exams for me. at least for the near future.
do i miss exams? well.. no. not yet at least.
really happy to see deardear muggin for his papers.
but tis, at e same time, makes me a v bored person.
but it's kinda nice. i lk staying home while he studys.
when he breaks we can watch desp hsewives/prison break/heroes
which i missed quite abit coz e past 2 wks were...
well i cant say bz.. juz that i had other piorities.

went for a short msia trip with my parents
bro supposed to come along but u noe wat kids his age are lk lar.
anw, it was really enjoyable! spa/gambling at genting/just eating & driving arnd
gotta spend some quality time with my parents while in e car.
i tink my dad's resignation brought e family closer.
well at least someting good came out of it. ahahs.
he seems more rested n better tempered too.

chicken rice vs wanton mee

if u tk chicken rice everyday.. will u get sick of it??
but wat if e chicken rice u're eating now it's really nice
tender chicken, fragrant rice, even e chilli sauce is made specially to ur liking.
everyone looks at ur chicken rice n goes 'woaaaahhh'
u're so custom to tking chicken rice everyday.
but once in a while u dream of how wanton mee taste lk.
coz u've nv eaten wanton mee in ur whole life.
i mean.. it's only normal rt?? to wana noe wat wanton mee taste lk?

im glad i did eventually make e decision to try out wanton mee.
but thats only coz i really got sick of chicken rice.
i made e choice knowing there that there is a high chance chicken rice would b sold out shd my wanton mee turned out to b not wat i imagine.
i made e change even though i didnt noe if e wanton mee was really nice.
or to my liking. i mean it could b too spicy. tasteless. expensive. watever.
but im lucky. i found wanton mee which makes me really happy.
n i tink im willing to eat wanton mee for e rest of my life.
tat is if e wanton mee seller keeps on selling wanton mee to me lar.

now some of my frens r facing tis prob too.
they've been eating chicken rice for a looooong time.
but they dont c any wanton mee in sight.
n they r not sure if they wan to eat wanton mee.
coz i doubt there's a nicer chicken rice out there.
it would seem pretty stupid to give up on their chicken rice in search of wanton mee rt?
esp since they duno where to find.
they could probably end up hungry.

so i talked to dearie abt tis prob.
his solution is for us to go to a food carnival.
i tink thats a fantastic idea!!!

daddy drops a bomb

yups. daddy quit his job! wat a shocker!
i mean i totally expected him to stay at his current job till he retires.
but as long as he is happy it's fine with me.
i hope he doesnt idle for too long though
but really felt quite bad for not noticing that he's been unhappy.
he's been fetching me to work everyday n we chat but i couldnt detect his moodiness.
thank god for my mum.
at least someting gd came out of tis.
i saw how self absorbed i was so from now on i'll make a pt to pay more attention to my parents!

yay! :) i've been buzzing around lk a bee this whole wk! been tied down by d&d stuff! glad it's all over for now. hope our video gets chosen n all our hard work wont go to drain! cant wait to c e final product.
